EXs129 Erhu

The Erhu is a two-stringed instrument which is usually played with a bow. In the Western world it has been known as the “Chinese violin” or the "Chinese two-stringed fiddle". The erhu is often used as a solo instrument. However, it also appears in small ensembles as well as in large orchestras. Since the erhu is undoubtedly a very versatile instrument, it has been used in both traditional and contemporary music arrangements. With the KApro EXs129 "Erhu" sound library, KApro presents a solo erhu with a playing range of C3-E5. Similar to the KApro EXs24 "Revolutionary Dimensional Cello" sound library, portamento phrases are emulated via the joystick JS+X and the ribbon controller of the KORG KRONOS/NAUTILUS. The pitch bending is obtained via aftertouch which facilitates a highly musical playing. In this way, your musical playing will be enriched by a lively sound which was not known before on the KORG KRONOS/NAUTILUS.
