New Sounds for Korg Kronos/Nautilus MOD-7, AL-1, MS20EX & PolysixEX Sound Engines

KRS-84 - EXi Super Synths combines four Kronos/Nautilus synth engines to create an amazing mix of classic and modern synth sounds.

Korg really raised the bar when they included nine different sound engines under the hood of Kronos/Nautilus. One of the coolest features available in Kronos/Nautilus is being able to combine two different engines (in program mode) and as many as all nine if you want to take things to the max in combi mode.

After focusing on programming sounds for the individual engines in our fist eight Kronos sound libraries, we thought the time was right to put together a collection of sounds that combines several of the engines. Since we wanted it to be a EXi "Synth" library, we picked the synth engines which were best at recreating that style - MOD-7, AL-1, MS20EX & PolysixEX.

All programs have two OSC's and two engines included in each patch. Combis include all four engines together as well as drums and percussion from the HD-1 engine in the drum track and KARMA modules/Dual ARPs. The results are a truly unique set of "Super Synth" sounds that bring together the best of what is possible in each of the Kronos/Nautilus sound engines.

All programs and combis include full KARMA / full ARP functions and drum track as well as control assignments to the Kronos/Nautilus Joystick, Vector Stick/X-Y Pad, SW1 & SW2 and User Knobs. EXi Super Synths is perfect for your next studio recording or live gig. Or if you just want to jam along, the cool KARMA/ARP grooves included on all 64 Programs & 32 Combis will have you jamming for hours.

Note: The order of the factory Programs is arranged differently among NAUTILUS, KRONOS2, KRONOS X and the original KRONOS. This affects sounds which reference the factory Programs. Please download the file which matches your product model.

Note: While Nautilus can import Kronos sounds, there are some significant differences between the two workstations. One of the biggest changes included is that Korg has replaced the KARMA section of Kronos with two Arpeggiators in Nautilus. So, Kid Nepro has adapted and reprogrammed all programs and combis so that Nautilus owners can now get the most from their new keyboard. In addition to that, Kid Nepro have spent many hours going through each program and combi to optimize our Kronos sounds to work seamlessly with Nautilus. As the result, the sounds between Kronos and Nautilus are a little bit different, but Kid Nepro thinks that you will agree that the sounds will be a great addition to both keyboards.
