EXs43 Glasper’s Grand & EP

EXs43 is the embodiment of Korg’s symbiotic relationship with world renown pianist/keyboardist/songwriter, Grammy & Emmy Award Winner and Korg Kronos artist, Robert Glasper. Robert asked his Korg artist relations contact if it would be possible to get sounds from a specific piano and electric piano that and put those sounds in a Kronos for him. Robert then explained he wasn’t happy with some grand pianos or electric pianos he sometimes gets on the road, and that having “signature sounds” he could always rely on would be perfect for his touring!

The process began with an intensive ten-day recording session at the legendary Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, now known as Chaplin Recording Studios. This was followed by more than a year of meticulous editing and fine-tuning. Included in the EXs43 library are both grand pianos and electric pianos voiced with Robert and the Korg team. These sounds have been road tested for 6 months and are now ready for the world!
